When I gave it to my 12 year old daughter eyes teared up. It is not a wined up and it plays automatic. You have to turn it in the correct direction for it to make music. It was also smaller than expected. Great idea, just needs work.

I recently purchased the Daughter beautifully engraved music box. While I am waiting for the perfect moment to give this to her, I am certain she will cherish and appreciate this gift. I sang this song to my child when she was a child, it is a song that she continues to sing to her child now that she is older. It holds more sentiment than people could imagine. She was a sickly child that was often hospitalized due to severe Asthma and then Type 1 diabetes. We sang when she received various treatments and shots to remove or divert attention to the scary things happening to her.
I had wished it was a little bigger. However it is the sentiment that will leave forever, long after I am gone from this life.
